Embedded Software Engineer

At NiniX Technologies I’m part of the Product Development Team as an Embedded Software Engineer.
My tasks consist of:
– Developing firmware
– Designing product solutions
– Designing PCB solutions

Oct 2021 – Now

CEO – TheSleekGeek

Since 2021 I’ve been creating and selling custom made polyhedral dice, it started out as a small hobby where I made dice for myself and friends, but a lot of friends started requesting dice and suggested we started selling them, and that is what I (and my GF) do!
Currently on a break because we bought a house we are renovating.

Feb 2023 – June 2023

Game Developer (XR)

During my 5 month internship at Cartamundi Digital I was tasked to port a mobile card playing game which Cartamundi Digital developed to two forms of XR, one being a full VR experience and the other using a AR toolkit called the “TiltFive”. Both experiences used the same game-loop as the mobile game.

Sept 2020 – June 2023

Independent Game Production

During my internship at Accenture, I realized that the workload missed a creative factor I really want during the day, and as I was already getting into exploring game development, I decided to study an extra 3 years to achieve my second bachelor focused on the game industry.
In 2023 I graduated DAE Howest Cum Laude!

Feb 2020 – June 2020

Security Intern

For my education Computer and Cybercrime Professional I wanted to experience the Erasmus program, so I applied for an internship at Accenture Prague and I got accepted.
During my internship I was part of two different teams as to experience as much as possible. I was part of the PAM team and the Web Pentesing team, both interesting, but the Web Pentesting a bit more so.
In the middle of the internship the Coronavirus went rampant and we had to return to Belgium where we continued our internship from the comfort of our homes, experiencing what working from home was as well.

During my secondary education I always felt like I wanted to know more about computers and programming, when it was time to choose a major in college the choice was easily made.
